Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Repair Blog
The S24 Ultra is the one people bring in almost apologetically, like they know what’s coming. It’s Samsung’s flagship-of-the-flagship — titanium frame, built-in S Pen, a camera array that looks like it belongs on a small telescope — and none of that complexity goes away once it’s sitting on my bench with a cracked screen. Compared to the S24 Plus, this isn’t just a bigger battery and a nicer box. The Ultra is a genuinely different repair, closer in spirit to the S23 Ultra than to its own sibling.

How We Rate This Phone
Repairability: 4/10
The titanium frame is the headline change, and it cuts both ways. It’s stiffer and more dent-resistant than the aluminum frames on past models, but it also holds heat differently, which means slower, more deliberate adhesive work during a screen swap so you don’t warp the frame or scorch the OLED underneath it. Add in the S Pen silo’s dust seal, which has to go back together correctly or you’re troubleshooting debris complaints for the customer later, and the periscope camera module’s tight placement near the back glass, and you’ve got a phone that punishes rushed work more than most.
Durability: 5/10
The flat Gorilla Armor glass is a real upgrade — the anti-reflective coating isn’t just cosmetic, it measurably reduces the glare-related drops we see with curved displays, and the flat edges hold up better against the corner-impact cracks that plague curved-screen phones. The titanium frame also resists the bending we sometimes see in aluminum after a bad drop. Where it loses points is the camera bump: it’s larger and more pronounced than on the Plus, and it acts as a pivot point in a fall, concentrating the impact and cracking the rear lens even when the rest of the phone walks away fine.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Screen Repair in Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler & Tucson
Timeframe: 80–105 minutes
We test the current display, touch response, and S Pen digitizer before we open anything, so you know exactly what was and wasn’t working going in. From there:
- Even heating across the full 6.8″ flat panel to soften the adhesive without stressing the titanium frame or overheating the OLED beneath it
- Careful separation that protects the fingerprint sensor cable and the S Pen digitizer ribbon, both of which run close to the frame edge
- Installation of the new display assembly with fresh adhesive seated evenly across the larger panel
- Fingerprint sensor and S Pen digitizer recalibration — skip this step and the pen will feel “off” even though the screen looks perfect
- A final function test across touch response, biometrics, S Pen input, and display uniformity
